Tiger Leaping Gorge High Trail
OpenThere were several accidents on the gorge in 2026. Stay on the marked high trail and skip it in heavy rain.

Yubeng and its trails
OpenSince 22 September 2026 a shuttle road runs from Xidang over the Nazongla pass to Yubeng; walking the Xidang side is not advised, as there is no footpath beside the road. The Ninong canyon trail and the Sacred Waterfall trail are open.
- Datong & the Yellow River
Laoniuwan: where the Great Wall meets the Yellow River
OpenThe walk ends in the Laoniuwan Yellow River Grand Canyon scenic area on the Inner Mongolia bank, a national 5A scenic area (ticket ¥40, walkers too). On the Shanxi bank, Pianguan Laoniuwan charges ¥64 from 1 April to 31 December 2026, or ¥90 for one ticket to three sites.
